With the 2012 Hyundai i30 due to arrive in the UK in March, Hyundai are starting to promote the car that aims to take on the VW Golf and Ford Focus. The new Hyundai i30 for 2012 arrived at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in September, and it caused a bit of a stir. Not just because it’s a good looking car, well built and keenly priced, but because VW boss Martin Winterkorn seemed so taken by it.
If you were Porsche's only North American factory driver, and if you'd won at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, you might feel as if you had every right to be a less-than-swell character. After all, those bona fides unquestionably position you as one of the finer shoes on the planet. Patrick Long, however, is a nice dude.

The new Corvette Z06 is officially GM’s most powerful product as it finally announces the vital stats: 641bhp and 650lb ft from the supercharged LT4 6.2 V8. This means that the new model is not only more powerful than the previous one (of course it is), but it beats also the crazy C6 ZR1 as well, putting it on a par with true exotics, at least when engine figures are concerned. GM says that 0-60mph takes under 3.5sec.
